New office Building - Milton Parade Malvern

This building began as a challenge to design a striking new office building, located adjacent to a train line, a freeway and opposite a leafy residential suburb of Malvern. To add to these constraints the site sloped steeply from one corner to the other making access to a basement car park difficult.

With careful planning and the introduction of a sloping floor basement car park, entering from the high end of the block, car parking was achieved taking full advantage of the slope.

The result was a half basement, no mechanical ventilation, (open on the east side) with plenty of cars for 2000 square metres of office space. The office area extended over two floors broken up into ten suites of varying sizes, each entering from a striking stainless steel lined entry lobby.

A commercial success for all stakeholders.
