Boardman Basketball Stadium Sunbury
Boardman Basketball stadium in Sunbury suffered a major catastrophe in the year 2000. A cyclone like wind blew through the region and unfortunately hit the stadium with such a force it twisted it beyond belief. Just like a cyclone.
The locals were devastated. But the local Council, to their credit, recognized the immense value the stadium had to the community and immediately put in place a task force of Council personnel and consultants to rebuild the Stadium as soon as possible.
Negotiations took place with the insurers and with the assistance of an experienced Construction management team, an architect plus other consultants, the new stadium was rebuilt, within budget, and better than the old.
The result was a magnificent new stadium for the community of Sunbury. Everyone was thrilled with the final new building and especially the basketball players.
